Otherwise known as MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art shows temporary art exhibitions, with a heavy emphasis on modern audio/visual art.
Situated close to the Q Square shopping mall, the building is a former school with two floors. There are usually a couple of exhibitions at any one time, often with screens showing multimedia or interactive artwork.
The main room on the second floor usually hosts some impressive larger exhibits. The first time we went, they had a number of large projections that told a story from a different perspective on each screen. The most recent exhibition featured many interactive displays, one which painted your image as you moved and swayed.
Located on the first floor are other exhibits, a cafe and a gift shop with some eclectic items on sale.
