If you have a penchant for beautifully landscaped gardens, then Shuangxi Park and Chinese Garden will be right up your alley.
Although it’s name lacks a clear identity, it’s definitely not a park. Comprising of around 3 acres, it’s located about a 15 minute walk from Shilin MRT and thus benefits from being devoid of tourists.
Although the park is never crowded, it’s only drawback is that it straddles two busy roads, so traffic noise cannot be escaped.
Aside from this minor quibble, the landscaping is second to none – Shuangxi Park and Chinese Garden without question one of the nicest gardens to visit in Taipei.
Pros
- Beautiful quaint gardens
Cons
- Located between 2 roads so impossible to escape traffic noise
Opening Hours
Open 24 hours a day
