Zhishan Garden is a beautiful Chinese garden that can be found at the base of the steps leading up to the National Palace Museum in Shilin.
Reflecting the styles of the Sung and Ming dynasties, the 5 acre garden features three ponds filled with carp, with bridges and pathways guiding you through the lush landscape. Also situated within the garden are three wooden pavilions, where you can relax and enjoy the peacefulness.
If find yourself at the National Palace Museum, then Zhishan Garden is a must visit – especially as it’s free to enter with a museum ticket.
