With dozens of Indian restaurants, Taipei isn’t short of choice. However, many we’ve been to haven’t exactly been memorable. Be it homely, fine-dining or vegetarian, these are some gems that really shine.
Joseph Bistro
An Indian restaurant with a touch of class, Joseph Bistro serves some great curry and tandoori dishes, while their salads are nothing short of knockout. It’s also found its way into the Michelin Guide for the last two years.
Oye Punjabi
Found in the heart of Taipei, Oye Punjabi serves homely Indian dishes that will not only warm your belly, but your heart too. Their Naan bread is probably the best we’ve had in Taipei, while their Dal Tadkas are nothing short of sensational.
Saffron Fine Indian Cuisine
Although Saffron is a little out of the way in Tianmu, it worth the journey as their dishes are very fine indeed. Another Indian restaurant that has earned a place in the Michelin Guide, their spicing is a notch above most.
Flavor of India
If your looking for a vegetarian Indian restaurant, then look no further than Flavor of India. Their dishes look fantastic, and thankfully they taste just as good too.
